Shashi Suman, is an Indian singer and composer, who is famous for his works in Bollywood film industry. He is also a contestant in the TV reality singing competition. He was inspired by his father, who also plays Tabla. His father insisted him to practise tabla, however, his interest was more inclined towards singing.
Career:
While he was one of the contestant in the singing reality competition, the organisers of the show, asked him to compose a song. However, he was eliminated before he could sing the song on stage. Some of his co-contestant who made it to ‘Top 5’, decided to sing the song. That is when, Sanjay Leela Bansali’s CEO, Sandeep Singh, was impressed with the tune. He made his first debut in the film industry as a music composer, for the film Mary Kom.
Later, he lent his voice for the song ‘Albela Sajan’, for the movie Bajirao Mastani and music was composed by Sanjay Leela Bansali. He stated that, he was very comfortable singing the song, since he was also involved in the creation of the song. Earlier, he has participated in 2 reality shows and he used to spend his nights in bus stand also, since he was not able to afford the expenses before making it big.
Currently, he is one of the jury members of the famous Hindi singing reality competition, ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs, aired on Zee TV.
