Shad Gregory Moss got his stage name Lil Bow Wow by the famous rapper Snoop Dogg, when he was performing at a concert in Los Angeles in the year 1993.

In the year 1998 when Bow Wow was 11, he met the record producer Jermaine Dupri and then started his career. In the year 2000 his debut album known as Beware of Dog was released. The single featured R&B girl group Xscape. It also featured Snoop Dogg. The album was successful. Bow Wow later released many albums and they were all very successful and were a hit. Apart from rapping, Bow Wow is also a very talented actor and he made his acting debut as a guest in many TV shows and has also appeared in a lot of movies as well.
