Sonakshi Sinha, is an Indian Bollywood film actress and daughter of actors Shatrughan and Poonam. She began working as a costume designer and made her debut in Hindi, through movie Dabangg(2010), for which she won Filmfare award for Best Female Debut. She has starred in romantic movies, however was criticised for taking up roles that did not have any huge hope.
Her performance in ‘Lootera’ was critically acclaimed and she was nominated for Best Actress award. She also delivered top-notch performance in Akira and Force 2. Currently, she confirmed to perform opening act for Justin Bieber’s upcoming concert in Mumbai and hopes to launch her new single.
