Major Gaurav Arya, is an ex-serviceman, Writer, Public Speaker and Blogger. He is an ex-serviceman, who has served in the 17th Kumaon Regiment, from the year 1993. He always interested in public issue topics like National Security, Kashmir issues, Militant Islam etc. It has been 17 years, since he left the military service, however, he is very much patriotic towards the nation.
After completing his education, he joined Indian Army in the year 1993. He served with the 17th Kumaon Reginment, in various operational areas, including Kashmir. After retiring from his army service, he is currently, working as a President in a famous multi-national company, in New Delhi.
Recently, he has written an open letter to the Late Hizbul Mujahideen Chief Burhan Wahi, which accused them on motivating even the young Kashimiris to Kill the Indian soldiers. He has also stated that, if they wanted to rebel against the Indian Army, then they have to face the consequences and the blood of their supporters will be spilled. However, this open letter was addressed by a Kashimiri Youth, Wasim Khan, in which he stated the unorthodox behaviour Indian army, in beating him up, when he was a little boy. He has also mentioned that, we must protect the innocent civilians, who are getting affected by the war between the Militants and Army forces.
