Manan Vohra, is an Indian Cricketer, who has participated in the Punjab team, in Under-16,19 and 22 category. He has also played for Dhruve Pandove Trophy. He led the team in the Under-19 category, while playing for Punjab. During ‘Vinoo Mankad Trophy’, he led the team into victory.

Career:

Manan Vohra, is the grandson of the famous hockey player, Y.P.Singh. Even though, Manan has his confusions while choosing the career between Cricket and Hockey, his grandfather encouraged him to go for Cricket. He started playing cricket even when he was very young, at the age of 13. Currently, he is trained by Yograj Singh, father of the cricketer Yuvraj Singh.

From the age of 19, he has played several matches, particularly the match against Australia, in Under-19 category, got him fame. He scored 79 runs from 35 balls and also replaced ‘Gitansh Khera’, in the Ranji Trophy, 2011. He has debuted in IPL matches in the year 2013 for Kings XI Punjab team and made his stand in the series. Recently, he scored 95 runs from 50 balls, which includes 9 4’s and 5 6’s.
