Riya Biswas, is one of the Top 15 contestant in the famous singing reality show, ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs 2017’. She is very calm and composed even at this very young age. The 13-year old competitor has been introduced to music by her father, Saroj Biswas, who is a singer, guitarist and Tabla player himself. Later she started studying music from ‘Runa Banerjee’, who has also taught her Adhunik Gaana. Following she started learning music from ‘Sahil Debanth’ from Kolkata.

Her music career started when she was pursuing her third grade, when she participated in the ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs’, which was aired in Zee Bangla, in the year 2011. In that season, she made it to the top 8 finalist, however was eliminated later in the semi finals. In 2017, again she is contesting in the Singing competition and has mesmerised judges and jury members with her beautiful voice.

She has gained so much experience and confidence, by doing various stage shows and TV reality shows. However, we have to wait for the judges and jury members, to score her performance. Riya has also stated that, she like the songs of ‘Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bonsle’, however she trains herself to sing all types of song, when participating in the reality shows.
