Sudarsan is a renowned Sand Artist and is a recipient of Padma Shri award (Fourth highest civilian award in India) for his work in sand art. We could just say, he introduced sand art in India.

Career:

He developed passion in making sculptures using sand from a very tender age and made it as a career for his life. He started making sand sculptures from the age of 7. Since then, he created many wonders which made him what he is today. He is famously known to depict the religious, political and social issues in his creations which attracts people across countries from various traditions. Few of his notable sculptures are The Black Taj Mahal, 1000 Santa Clause Sculptures and the world’s tallest sandcastle World Peace.


Life Journey:

It was not an easy childhood for Sudarsan as he hails from a very poor family. He made Odisha’s beach as his workplace from young age and started amazing people with his wonderful sand creations. He is a proud owner of Sudarsan Sand Art Institute which imparts Sand Art training to people from different countries.
