She started her acting career with the Punjabi Music Albums. After this, she made her television debut in the year 2011, with the series, ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’, in which she played the role of ‘Sandhya Suraj Rathi’. In this character, she portrayed a fun loving girl, who is aiming for the post of IPS Officer, however, due to some unavoidable circumstances, she gets married to a sweet shop owner. Later, with the help of her husband, she pursue’s her career.
In the year 2013, she was seen as a contestant in ‘Nach Baliye 6’ and in the year 2016, she was again seen on the small screen, through the series, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. She is also the recipient of 2012 and 2013 Star Parivaar Awards, under various category like, ‘favourite Bahu, Favourite Naya Sadasya etc’.
