Ankita Kundu, is a 15 year old contestant from Bangalore, who scored a whooping 93% in her audition round of the Live TV reality show, ‘Rising Star’, aired in Colors TV. She has impressed the judges and expert panel members, with her amazing performance. The expert panel members Shankar Mahadevan, Monali Thakur and Diljit Dosanjh are satisfied with her compromising performance in the last 3 rounds.
She made her stand in the show with her performance on the song ‘Lag Jaa Gale’ in the audition round and proceeded to the next round. In the second round, which is Duels Round, she sang ‘Mohe Rang Do Laal and defeated Deblina Nath, by scoring 92%, even though Deblina gave a close competition by scoring 90%. In the ‘Red Sofa Elimination’ round, Ankita sang ‘Maar Daala’ and scored 90%, making it to the ‘Top 14’ contestants of the show.
She made her debut performance, in the TV reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs’, in the year 2015. And, this makes her one of the strong contestant of the show. In this reality show, voting of the audience is considered to be the first priority and experts panel’s decision comes next. So she has to impress the audience.
Even though, she has cleared the first three rounds, she will have to fight hard in the upcoming rounds, since the competition will be getting tough. She has to prove herself each time and let the audience know that she is worthy of the Grand Title of the year.
