Jolly LLB 2 featuring Akshay Kumar as the lead actor, is his first movie for the year 2017, which will be hitting the screens on 10th February,2017. This movie is a sequel of the Arshad Warsi movie, Jolly LLB, which was a directorial hit given by Director Subhash Kapoor. The Jolly LLB sets high expectation from the director for his second installment Jolly LLB 2, as well. Fox star studios has produced this movie. The movie stars Akshay Kumar and Huma Qureshi in the lead and Annu Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla in the supporting roles.
The Central Board of File Certification (CBFC) has given U/A certification for this Akshay Kumar’s movie. Even though, this movie has references to Indian Judicial System, the board cleared the movie without any cuts. However using the ‘LLB’ created some issues in the past, it was reported that the film did not contain any controversial statements, which was presented to the board members.
Total Budget:
The total budget including the production cost and printing and advertising cost of the movie excluding Akshay Kumar’s salary is estimated around 45 crores. Even though this is not a Akshay Kumar’s home production, he is having a share of profits, which is estimated around 25 crores. Finally, the total estimated budget is around 70 crores.
Estimated Box Office Collection:
The estimated box office collection is around 100-150 crores in the first week, including collection all over the world. However, the first day collection of the movie is 13.20 crores and second day collection was around 17 crores. The total week’s collection are yet to be announced.
Finally, it is important to admit that even though the movie is based and showcases some hard hitting content towards brand, it has got huge applause from the audience.
