Kannur Lokesh Rahul is an Indian cricketer. He was born on 18 April 1992 in Mangalore, Karnataka, India. He is right-hand batsman and a wicket keeper. Rahul is the second player to play test-cricket from Mangalore, Karnataka after BudhiKuderan the former test player. Rahul plays domestic cricket. He is presently a part of Indian test cricket team in test cricket. He represents Royal Challengers Bangalore in the up-coming IPL season.

Career:K.L.Rahul became the first ever Karnataka batsman to score a triple century in Ranji Trophy against Utter Pradesh. Rahul had scored 1033 runs in domestic cricket in year 2014-15. Though Rahul respects Rahul Dravid as his idol but his father who was a huge fan of Sunil Gavaskar, decided to name his son by the name of Gavaskar’s son Rohan which he mistook as Rahul. Rahul loves to play aggressive cricket and he always dreams of playing against Australia and Pakistan.
