Rajdeep Sardesai, is an Indian News anchor and author. Currently, he is a consulting editor at India Today group and hosts Headlines Today. He was also the Editor-in-chief of Global Broadcast News that includes CNN-IBN, IBN7 and IBN-Lokmat. He resigned that job in 2014.

Career:Rajdeep Sardesai, has worked with The Times of India for six years and the editor of the magazines Mumbai edition. He made his debut in TV journalism, in the year 1994 a Political Editor of NDTV. Gradually, he became the Managing Director of NDTV 24×7 and NDTV India, in which he was responsible for the overseeing the news policy for both channels. He has also hosted the famous shows like ‘The Big Fight’ at NDTV.
He later came out of NDTV and started his own company, Global Broadcast News(GBN), which is the collaboration with the CNN news channel an TV 18. Sardesai’s news channe; was also named as CNN-IBN and he was the Editor-in-chief of the channel. His compay GBN also brought 46% of shares and it was later renamed as IBN7. He is president of Editors Guild in India.
