Satyendra Kumar Jain, is an Indian Politician, who represents the Aam Aadmi Party. He was one of the cabinet minister, in the Delhi Government, which was led by Arvind Kejriwal. He takes care of the departments like, ‘Health, Industries, Power, Urban Development, Transport etc’.

Career:Satyendra Kumar Jain, started his career as an architect, in the ‘Central Public Works Department (CPWD)’. Later, he quit his job due to the corruption that prevailed in that department. He joined the Anna Hazare Movement against corruption and later made his entry into the politics. He has also worked with the social welfare organisation like, ‘Drishti’, where he helped the visually challenged people.
He became one of the member of Delhi’s State Legislative Assembly, in 2013, he won the elections from Shakur Basti. He was appointed as the Delhi Health Minister and served in the post till 2014. He has also handled many important posts during the AAP rule in Delhi. With his influence, he has also appointed his daughter in one of the important post in Delhi Government, even though she was not qualified. Recently, he has been summoned by the IT department on the charges of tax evasion probe against his Kolkata-based firms. However, Arvind Kejriwal has supported Jain and claims he is innocent.
