Devendra Fadnavis, is the current Chief Minister of Maharastra, India. He is the member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and RSS. He is the second youngest CM of Maharastra, at the age of 44, following Sharad Pawar, who became CM at the age of 38. Fadnavis represents the Nagpur South West constituency in Maharastra Legislative Assembly. He has also the President of the Maharastra state unit of BJP.

Career:As a college student, he was the active member of ABVP. Five years later, he became the youngest mayor of the Nagpur Municipality Corporation and became second youngest mayor in History of India. In 1999, he was first selected as a member of the state legislative assembly and following that, he has been selected as MLA for four times. Fadnavis, was selected as the Leader on October 31, 2014, after the meeting held in Vidhan Bhavan, in the presence of Rajnath Sigh and General Secretary Jagat Prakash Nadda. His government won a confidence motion on voice vote on November 12, 2014, hence allowing it to govern.
