Tatwa Prakash Satapathy, is an Indian actor, who is well known by his stage name, ‘Papu Pom Pom’, is prominent for his works in the Odia Film Industry. He is also a popular Stand-up comedian, who has appeared in over 15 Odia films and he has made appearance in Television, as well. He is also an upcoming politician and an Odisha State Legislative assembly candidate.

Career:During the childhood days, Papu showed keen interest in Jatra, Music and dance and this inspired him to become a Dramatic Secretary, during his college days. After completing his graduation, he came to Bhubaneshwar, in order to find a career in acting. At the end of a long struggle, he cracked his way into Odia Film industry, in the year 2007, with the Odia movie, ‘Tu Mo Akhiira Tara’. Initially, his performances, went unnoticed in the Film industry and he got an opportunity, as a Radio Jockey in Radio Chocolate, where he presented himself with the name, ‘Papu Pom Pom’, a comedian. This fetched him popularity and his performances were widely appreciated. Later, he made his debut into politics and became a member of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Party.
