T.T.V Dinakaran, is an Indian Politician and Deputy General Secretary of the political party, ‘All Indian Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK). He is also the former member of the Parliament in Rajya Sabha, the upper house of Indian Parliament. He was a Lok Sabha MP, who represented Periyakulam from 1999 to 2004.
Career:
Career:He was introduced into ADMK party, with the influence of V.K.Sasikala, in the year 1999, along with other Mannargudi family members. He won the General Elections from Periyakulam Constituency in the year 1999 and became the member of the Lok Sabha. Later, he became the member of Rajya Sabha, in the year, 2004. He served as a member till the year 2010. In the year 2011, Late J.Jayalalithaa sacked the Mannargudi family from the party, as a result of Corruption. Dinakaran, was one among them.
Soon after J.Jayalalithaa’s death, O.Pannerselvam was made the Cheif Minister of Tamil Nadu and V.K.Sasikala was made the General Secretary of the AIADMK party. However, she was later convicted in the disproportionate assets case. So, she made her nephew T.T.V.Dinakaran, as the Deputy General secretary of the party. However, he also has FERA cases pending before the court against him.
