Arun Vijay is an Indian Actor, Playback singer and stunt coordinator. He is well known for his works in Tamil film industry. He is the only son of the Tamil actor Vijayakumar. He has been active in Tamil film industry from 1995. He is an adventurous person and also has license to skydive from United States Parachute Association.

Career:Even when he was pursuing his studies, he was interested in acting and his father encouraged him to study dancing, swimming, skating and horse-riding as his extra-curricular activities. He made his debut in the movie ‘Murai mappillai(1995)’, in which he was just 18 years old and was the youngest actor who made his debut in Tamil movie. His dance and fight performance was highly appreciated at that time.
He has acted in various genres of movies following his debut like ‘Kathirundha Kangal, Ganga Gowri, Mutham, Pandavar Bhoomi, Iyarkai etc’. However none of his movies were a commercial hit, even though some movies had a great story line, they gained him only moderate success during his period. Despite being a great actor, he has waited over 17 years to be recognized as a talented actor in Tamil Industry, after his movie ‘Yennai Arinthal’.
